The Simulation Center at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine allows our current and future health care professionals to train and refine techniques on cutting-edge, mannequin-based human patient simulators.
These simulators provide learners with the opportunity to make clinical decisions and to experience the results of those decisions in real time. Video review allows reflection upon the decisions made and the outcomes.
Simuneering is fused from the words “simulation” and “engineering”. Simuneering is what simulation creators and scenario designers do when they use their collective imaginations, research, and experience in the medical and simulation world to engineer something tangible, realistic, useable, and innovative in the physical training & education world.
